And hanging out with friends is great, because your girl shouldn’t make you the centre of her universe. BUT now, her social calendar is suddenly choc-a-block with appointments with friends, hanging out, partying and having the time of her life. So what happened that she suddenly felt the need to go out of her way to hang out... less with you? It’s even more suspicious if she didn’t have many friends to begin with, but now she seems over enthusiastic about making 1 new friend every week.
She gives other dudes more attention
Is your girl trying to make you jealous? Just see how she behaves with other men. And not her friends, but random men she’s just met. Is she too chatty or too friendly with them? Does she happen to touch their hands or keep her hands on their shoulders while talking to them? Does she giggle at their jokes or promise to hang out more with them the next time? If you answered yes to all these questions, then you have your answer.
She does your favourite things with others
Remember that cute coffee place that you two go to from time to time, because that was the first time you met her? Well, that place used to be sacred to her but now she’s started hanging out there with friends. What’s worse is that she’s begun taking her male friends to that place... and she’s having a good time there, even without you.
She posts a shit tons of photo on social media
With all of them having soooo much fun with her new friends and how they’re all besties and friends forever, with lots of emojis and hearts and what not. Which is normal, of course, but 10 times a week? Really? Especially since the photos happened to be of a party that you two were invited to but you didn’t end up going to.
She acts indifferent
Is your girl trying to make you jealous? Look at how she behaves with you. Has she suddenly started talking and sharing less with you? Have your funny texts started being ignored or have you started getting late and late replies? Has the relationship between you two become almost formal? There are fewer date nights
Well, she has a busy social calendar and it’s becoming increasingly difficult to go out on a date with her, just the two of you. In fact sometimes you have to ask her days in advance if she will be able to spend some time with you, which is beyond ridiculous.
She has celeb crushes
Sure, everybody has celeb crushes. But not many people have a new one every week, right? And it’s one hot guy after the other. She’ll drool over his photos, put them as her phone’s screensaver and go on and on about how he’s God’s gift to humanity. No, she’s not acting like a teenager; it’s a sign that the girl trying to make you jealous.
She sides with everybody... except you
Remember the good old days when you argued with someone and she always had your back, no matter if you were right or wrong? Yeah, those defences have become lesser and lesser, which is okay because it’s possible she’s tired of defending you. But what’s suspicious is how she goes out of her way to side with her or your friends during arguments with you..... even when you’re right!
She brings up her ex
The breakup between those two wasn’t amicable and she’d always glare whenever you mentioned his name in jest. But of late, she’s started reminiscing about the good times that she used to have with him, even though she made it clear in the beginning that she’d rather die than get back with him. So what gives? Nothing, except for the fact that your girl trying to make you jealous.
